This has been a crazy week. It is a perfect example of life getting in the way of living.
I had A Lot of Ryder time this week which was wonderful.
I also had to go out of town rather unexpectedly which threw my week into a tailspin.
I also had to go out of town rather unexpectedly which threw my week into a tailspin.
My DH's baseball team made it to the Mercer County Championship game at Waterfront Park
Here he is coaching third base. Unfortunately the team lost but they had a great run in the tournament.
This game, combined with all the extra Ryder Time and making a whirlwind trip to Florida, made finishing anything on my list very difficult.
Most things on my list will be carried over to next week.

The Week of May 13, 2013
(in review)
1. Work on a few Dear Jane blocks.
I did not get to work on any DJ blocks.
2. Continue to work on Part 6 of Roll Roll Cotton Boll.
I have finished 20 of the 120 strips needed for step 6.
3. Complete the most recent Byrne $5 quilt block and attend the class.
Because of my trip to Florida I was unable to complete the block or attend the class at Byrne Sewing Connection.
4. Continue working on three BRODY Projects.
NO progress.
5. Finish the hexies not completed last week and add 21 more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired Christmas Hexagon quilt.
This is one project that I was able to work on. Working on Hexies is a great airport/airplane project.
700 Hexies
721 Hexies
6. Write some Show & Tell Tuesday blog posts for the future.
I did not get to this.
7. Cut up some more Goodwill shirts into usable quilting fabric.
No shirts were de-boned this week.
8. Spend three days with little Ryder.
Here is Ryder saying his prayers (sort of).
Here he is with his Granddad.
9. Work on a few Just Takes 2 blocks.
No Just Takes 2 blocks were completed this week.
10. Start to assemble the blocks from the Building Blocks BOM from The Village Quilter, that I finished in February.
I didn't even open the box of completed blocks. Oh well, they aren't going anywhere.
By the looks of the week coming up, I probably won't get much done this week either. Oh well, sometimes there are much more important things than quilting.
