Make-A-List Monday November-December 2018 in Review

A new year is about to start, but before we ring in 2019 we need to reflect on the past two months.

November & December 2018 have been a blur...

Not much sewing has happened but that is okay.  That is the nature of this time of year.

Our Thira turned one year old on November 26.

It's amazing how such a large pup can be so sweet.

I watched my beloved USC Trojan football team self-destruct.
There is always next year...

We spent an amazing week in Disney World in November.

I tried a lot of new recipes.  I think my favorite was this
 Cranberry-Apple Crumb Pie.
Just the right blend of tart and sweet.
YUM!!!

We celebrated Christmas in December.

I've revamped my planning system for 2019.

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with my planner/meal plans.

Now on to my list...

Awesome Adventures with Ryder, Logan, & Jace November 2018

Awesome Adventures
with
Ryder, Logan, & Jace
November 2018

The month of November 2018 was the
 BEST MONTH EVER!!!

We took a family trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL.  My three children, their spouses, and my three grandsons treated us to a trip to Disney for my husband and my 60th birthdays.

Waiting for everyone to arrive.

Kyle, Heather, and the boys were the first to arrive at the beautiful Sheraton Resort.

Ryder was determined to test all the beds to be sure they passed inspection.

The boys loved looking at all the wildlife around the resort.  We never saw an alligator (thank God) but we did see lots of herons, turtles, ducks, squirrels, fish, etc.

And speaking of fish...

Chilly air didn't stop these boys!

All the pools were great.  We visited them frequently during our week stay.

There were also some nice playgrounds around the resort.
Jace awoke VERY early each day so we would take him out to play on the playground while the others slept on...

On our first full day in Orlando we were surprised with Breakfast with the Characters.

I made everyone personalized Mickey shirts.

Shea and Ricky had not arrived yet so they missed the Character Breakfast :(

I was surprised with the whole restaurant singing
"Happy Birthday" to me.

We also enjoyed the resort game center and mini golf.

Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit was so much fun!

Breakfast in our suite before a very busy day at the park.

We visited Disney Springs to walk around and have dinner one evening.

We were able to duplicate the silhouette we had done 25 years ago.
Kyle, JT, & Shea on the top right...Ryder, Logan, & Jace on the bottom left.  <3

We enjoyed ourselves in The Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and Universal Studios.  Here are pictures of some of the things we did...

Coming home was difficult, but home we did go.
