Show & Tell Tuesday - Stars in the Ocean & Country Home

Every Year Pennington Quilt Works hosts a Saturday Sampler Block of the Month at their shop.  I have participated for many years.  In 2012 I decided to make the quilt in two color ways.  The batik version uses blues, greens & neutrals and is called Stars in the Ocean.  I finished the batik version in 2012.

Stars in the Ocean

Both of my Saturday Samplers used a Judy Martin setting.  I found this setting to be a little challenging but worth the effort.

The next version was made with browns, reds & tans and it is called Country Home.  I didn't finish Country Home until 2014.  Both quilts are king size.

I hope you enjoy both of these quilts.

Until Next Time.....Happy Stitching!!!

Awesome Adventures February 2017

Awesome Adventures with
Ryder, Logan and Jace
February 2017

Logan loves going to MY GYM.

Under the Sea

"Cheeeeese!"

Ryder & Logan love to play in their new home.

I got each of my 2 little monkeys, 2 little monkeys to play with for Valentine's Day.

Ryder enjoying some quiet time.

The BOYZ love to play in the snow.

One of Ryder's favorite things to do is build with Legos.  He is VERY good at it.

My sweet little boys and their daddy, Kyle, came to our church Spaghetti Dinner.
Mommy was home resting.  She had a very big day coming soon!

We were able to make another recipe in our Disney Princess Cookbook.

This time we made Miner's Mini Muffins from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
YUM!

February 16th turned out to be a very special day for our family.  Ryder and Logan came to our house and we tried to keep them very busy.

It was very cold so we didn't play outside, but we had lots of fun putting on a puppet show.

Ryder had fun duplicating a picture with water color paint.
Nice job, Ryder!

Later that day...

Welcome
Jace Kyle Hutchinson !!!

Ryder & Logan meeting their new brother for the first time:

Such a beautiful family!

It was sad to leave Mommy, Daddy & Jace in the hospital when we had to leave, so the BOYZ gave their new brother a kiss goodbye.

Our precious new little boy :)

Ready to go home.

Resting comfortably in his new home.

While Jace settled into his new life, Ryder and Logan enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather.

Kung Fu Soccer

We enjoyed a late winter picnic at a local park.

It was a very sunny day.

Ryder loves Santa waffles...even in February.

Ready to play some hockey

Logan hanging out with Mimi

Jace - bright eyed and.....

sleepy.

Brotherly love <3

Logan and I had a special date.  First we went grocery shopping...Logan drove the cart.

Then we went in search of a "dinosaur playground."

We kidnapped Grandad and went on our adventure.

We found a dinosaur playground and had another late winter picnic.

February was filled with so much fun and LOVE.  Our family is truly blessed. :)

Until Next Time.....Happy Stitching!!!
