Foodie Friday

Magic Cookie Bars


  •     1/2 C          Margarine or Butter
  • 1 1/2 C          Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1  can            Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
  • 1  pkg            Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (6 oz)
  • 1 1/3 C           Flaked Coconut
  • 1  C               Chopped Nuts
   Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass dish).  In 13x9-inch baking pan, melt margarine in oven.  Sprinkle crumbs over margarine; pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs.  Top with remaining ingredients; press down firmly.  Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.  Cool completely.  Cut into bars.  Store loosely covered at room temperature.

Makes 24 to 36 bars
