Make-A-List Monday

The Week of January 20, 2014
(in review)

1.  Piece a backing for the Byrne 2013 BOM.

I was able to use ALL my left over fabric to piece a backing for this quilt.  I love when I don't have to spend money on backing fabric!

2.  Bind Little Dominoes, launder and label.

I was able to quilt one of the quilts I made for Quilts for Kids.  I will quilt the other one as soon as I get backing fabric and batting.

3.  Bind and label All Hand Dyes Go Together.

This is a VERY scrappy quilt made entirely from stash.

 It is so colorful!

I have renamed this quilt "Connect the Dots."

4.  Bind and label the Heather Spence Spring
2013 Mystery Quilt.

I have renamed this quilt "Friendship" because the fabric line is called "Friendship'" and because of all the friends I made while working on it.

Now it is time to add this quilt to my stack of quilts that need their bindings hand tacked.

5.  Add a label to a Gift Project that I recently finished.

This project is done but I can't post any pictures because it has not been presented yet.

6.  Prepare four Nine Patch Blocks for Wildflower Rhapsody.

These are so little ... just 3 1/2".

I think they are going to be cornerstones.

7.   Finish my Pieceful Nights quilt...a Quilt Along sponsored by Jo's Country Junction.

I've been working on this quilt top for over a year.  It was made entirely from stash...my favorite kind of quilt!

8.  Make a Desk Deli Tote.

I've decided to purchase some fabric for this bag so I was unable to work on it.

9.  Work on the first block for Globetrotting

a Quilt-Along sponsored by Pat Sloan.

This is another project that I will work on for a year and that will be made mostly from stash.  I did purchase the purple fabric, but I already had all the rest of the fabric that I will use.

10.  Prepare a new Brody Project - Teal and White Delight.

My Teal and White Delight quilt has been prepared.

I will now add it to my list of BRODY Projects.

11.  Work on the following BRODY Projects:

*Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Small Print
*Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Large Print
*Christmas in the Meadow
Civil War Tribute
Two Flag of Valor Quilts

I was able to work on both of my Four-Patch Stacked Posies quilts and I finished my
Christmas in the Meadow quilt top.

Now I will be searching for some pretty Christmas fabric for the back.

12.  Work on the quilt currently loaded on Annie:  Going Buggy

I finished quilting Going Buggy and Hopscotch in Neutrals.

13.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired Christmas Hexie Quilt.

A little progress.

14.  Work on the shawl I am crocheting for
the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. David the King Church.

A little Progress.

15.  Spend a few days with my sweet Ryder.

I missed my time with Ryder this past week because of all the snow.

16.  Attend the Prayer Shawl Ministry workshop at
 St. David the King Church.

Because of our horrible weather my DH took our car on the day of the PSM workshop.  He usually rides his bike to work but it has been too dangerous to ride a bike on the snow covered roads.  Hopefully I will be able to make the workshop next month.
