Make-A-List Monday

Bad things come in threes....

This has been a rather difficult week in my house.  First my DH came down with a stomach virus and then it was my turn.  Yuck!

Then, today I had a dentist appointment to have a crown put on and the appointment lasted 4 1/2 hours!  Now my tooth is really sore.  Poor me!

Finally, my Internet has been out most of the day.  We reset the modem and now it seems to be working.

Okay, bad things happen in threes so now all should be good ... I hope!

On to my list...

The Week of January 13, 2014
(in review)

1.  Piece a backing for
Back to Square One mystery quilt.

I found the fabric for this quilt back in my stash.

I added a little of the fabric from the front for the perfect backing.

2.  Change the border on Celtic Solstice so that it matches the backing.

I decided not to change this border and just keep it the way it is.

It is a VERY scrappy quilt so I really don't think it will matter.

3.  Work on the January block for the PQW Saturday Sampler.

This is a Dresden plate appliqued block.
I am happy with how it turned out.

4.  Prepare four Focal Stripe Blocks for Wildflower Rhapsody.

Four more blocks complete.

5.  Work on the final touches for the
 Byrne 2013 $5 quilt.

This is the final block for this quilt.

Here is the completed quilt top.  Unfortunately, the lighting does not do the colors justice.  It is really pretty the way the sashing appears to be woven.

6.   Finish my Pieceful Nights quilt...a Quilt Along sponsored by Jo's Country Junction.

No progress.

7.  Make a Desk Deli Tote.

No progress.

8.  Work on the first block for Globetrotting - a quilt along sponsored by Pat Sloan.

No progress.

9.  Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Small Print
Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Large Print
*Blue Palace
Meadow - A Christmas Quilt
Civil War Tribute
Two Flag of Valor Quilts

I was able to finish Blue Palace.

I just love blue and white together.

10.  Work on the quilt currently loaded on Annie:
Quilts for Kids - Little Dominoes (Crayons)

I finished Little Dominoes and
the 2013 Heather Spence Spring Mystery Quilt.

11.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired Christmas Hexie Quilt.

A little progress.

12.  Work on the shawl I am crocheting for
the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. David the King Church.

A Little Progress.

13.  Spend a few days with my sweet Ryder.

Because of my illness, I only got to spend one day with Ryder.

We went to story time at the library

Any day spent with little Ryder is a good day!
