Make-A-List Monday January/February

Let it Snow, Let it Snow,
Let it Snow!

Our backyard in this winter wonderland.
So Pretty!

My wonderful husband shoveling lots and lots of snow!

Our little pond fisher-boy needs to be rescued.

(in review)

1.  Spend quality time with my special grandsons
Logan-in-the-Box

 Logan catching butterflies

We love to play "I Spy with my Little Eye" at the library with all the DVD boxes.

Ryder going rollerblading in the warm house

The boys patiently waiting for music class to begin

Anything can be an instrument - even cake pans

Down Brody.  This is my dinner.  Don't be a BOOGLE!

Ryder loves the bunny that Ricky helped him win.

 Logan feeling "under-the-weather"

Feeling MUCH better!

Hi everybody!  Ryder and Logan love playing at Gymboree

 Quite a masterpiece, Ryder!

Oh my...Look at all that SNOW!

 Such a beautiful smile!

Logan is not sure if he likes this stuff called snow

"What is all this white stuff, Daddy?"

 Shoveling is hard work!

 A job well done!

We like playing with snow inside the warm house.

2.  Piece, quilt, bind and label at least one "Quilts for Kids" quilt.  Attend the Quilts for Kids workshop at Pennington Quilt Works

Our QFK quilting group made over 30 quilts this month.  I made two of the quilts in these piles.

3.  Attend Saturday Sampler at PQW.

This was the first session for the new Saturday Sampler at PQW.  These were the smaller versions of the four quilt color ways this year.  I was undecided at first if I would even participate this year but when I saw the samples I fell in love with this quilt:

It is made with Kaffe Fassett fabric.  I especially loved the background fabric.  I am very excited to see the larger version using this fabric line.

This is my first 10" block.  I really like it.  I have never used Kaffe fabric before although I have admired it for years.

4.  Celebrate my DMIL's 80th birthday.

We started the day by attending Worship at my DMIL's church.

Then we had lunch at a local restaurant.
 DMIL's choice - FRIENDLY'S!

5.  Make Valentine's Day pillowcases for my little guys.

6.  Complete Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt Allietare

7.  Make Christmas Stockings for Kyle and Heather for Christmas 2016

8.  Decide on the 2016 Block of the Month projects I will do.

I found SOOOO many BOM projects that I would like to do this year.  So many that I couldn't choose just a few.  I've decided to print the directions for a variety of projects, but not start any right now.

No progress on any of the following projects:

24.  Work on the following
 BRODY/RYDER/LOGAN Projects:

The lack of progress on these projects is the reason I have decided to not start any new BOM's.

I wanted to share this picture because I like it...
No other reason :)
