Make-A-List Monday

The Week of August 12, 2013
(in review)

1.  Complete the August block for the PQW Saturday Sampler.

Here is the block that I made.  It is not due until September 13th.

It feels good to be done ahead of time.

2.  Finish quilting my Stonehenge quilt currently loaded on Annie and attach the binding.

My Stonehenge quilt has been quilted and the binding has been attached.

This is a picture of only part of this very large quilt.

I will include it in a future Show & Tell Tuesday post.

3.  Work on two Quilts for Kids quilts.

I actually had enough blocks to make 3 Quilts for Kids tops.

They are now ready to be quilted.

4.  Complete  lessons 1-8 for the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along sponsored by the Quilting Gallery.

I am all up-to-date with this Quilt-Along.

The next step should be released on Thursday of this week.

5.  Attach labels to two quilts that have not yet been labeled.

The quilts have been labeled and Show & Tell posts have been prepared.

6.   Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Lazy Sunday
Blue Dresden Plate Quilt
Log Cabin Christmas Quilt
Tumalo Trail
Six Little Charmer II Table Runners
Christmas Charm Tree Skirt

I was able to do a little work on the Log Cabin Christmas Quilt and I was able to finish the Tumelo Trail top.

I have prepared a pieced backing and it has been added to my
 Git-R-Done! list.

7.  Work on hand piecing two blocks for Skill Builder Block of the Month
sponsored by Alyssa Lichner of Pile O' Fabric.

No progress this week.   :(

8.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
Christmas Hexie Quilt.

I only added a few hexies this week.

9.  Work on a Crazy Eight quilt.

I made all my blocks for this quilt.
I will sew the blocks together as a BRODY Project.

10.  Work on a few blocks for a baby sampler.

When I pulled this project out I realized I had 60 four-inch blocks completed.

I decided to frame the blocks to make them all six-inches.

These blocks paired with some plain six-inch squares were enough to make four quilts.

I have not sewn them together yet.  I will add them to my BRODY Projects.

The Week of August 19, 2013

1.  Cut up a pile of scraps into my Scrap Users System.

2.  Make the next block for the Byrne Sewing Connection 2013
 $5 block quilt.

3.  Work on Lesson 9 for the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along sponsored by The Quilting Gallery.

4.  Spend a day with little Ryder.

5.  Work on hand piecing two blocks for Skill Builder Block of the Month
sponsored by Alyssa Lichner of Pile O' Fabric.

I'm going to keep adding this to my list with the hope that one of these weeks I might actually get to it.

6.  Work on quilting the Byrne 2011 $5 Quilt - Batik Colorway and the three Quilts for Kids quilts that I pieced this past week on Annie.

7.  Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Lazy Sunday
Blue Dresden Plate Quilt
Log Cabin Christmas Quilt
Six Little Charmer II Table Runners
Christmas Charm Tree Skirt
Crazy Eight
Four Baby Sampler Quilts

8.  Attend Strip Club at The Village Quilter in Mt. Holly, NJ.

These are the strips we will use this month.

9.  Make a Charm Quilt for Ryder's new cousin, Kayden.

10.   Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
Christmas Hexie Quilt.

Until Next Time.....Happy Stitching!!!
