Make-A-List Monday

Make-A-List Monday

The Week of October 8, 2012
(in review)

1.  Finish the "Candy Dish" pillow I started in the class at The Village Quilter with Julie Herman.

I chose to make my pillows in "fall" colors.  These pillows will be a Christmas present.

2.  Finish the borders on the 2011 PQW Saturday Sampler Quilt.
The quilt is pieced and ready to be quilted.

3.  Attend PQW Saturday Sampler class.
This month we are doing the 9th of 12 blocks.

4.  Attend Brother & Baby Lock Embroidery Club at Byrne Sewing Connection in Doylestown, PA.  I was able to do some more embroidery at the club session.  We made pillow cases using a shadow technique.  When I got home I embroidered a cuddle blanket for Ryder that I had made.

I definitely have a lot to learn.

5.  Go out to dinner with some friends.
The timing of our dinner was not the best.  It was right in the middle of the Yankee game.  So it was imperative that we go to a restaurant with a television.  We went to City Streets in East Windsor.  We enjoyed good food and good company.  Unfortunately we did not enjoy a Yankee win.  :(

6.  Work on my Christmas quilt for Quilts for Kids.
My quilt is pieced and pinned.  I have decided not to quilt it on Annie because I have such a back-up with quilts I need to do.  So I will quilt it with my DSM when I attend our group in November.

7.  Finish a quilt on Annie for little Ryder.  I have made progress on Ryder's quilt but it is not done yet.

The Week of October 15, 2012

1.  Knit and crochet some hats for my sweet little Ryder.  The weather is starting to get a little cooler so it is now time to make some warm accessories for Ryder.

2.  Finish quilting Ryder's quilt on Annie.  I will try again to get this quilt done.

3.  Work on the fall mystery quilt with Heather Spence.

4.  Make some embroidered pillow cases.  More Christmas presents.....

5.  Attend class at The Village Quilter in Mt. Holly, NJ.  In the class I am taking I will learn to make folded table mats.  Could these be more Christmas presents?  Probably!

6.  Work on the 2009 (yes, I said 2009!) Patchwork Party quilt.  I have definitely been procrastinating about finishing this quilt.
It is time that I "get 'er done"!

7.  Celebrate my DDIL Heather's birthday.

I know I have over planned this week.  Wish me luck!!

Until Next Time.....Happy Stitching!!!
