Show & Tell Tuesday (Calico Cutie, Follow Your Heart, Stars and Stripes)

Show & Tell Tuesday
(A day late again...but better late than never :)

Calico Cutie

I purchased Calico Cutie as a kit at a quilt show quite a few years ago.  I worked on it for a while using both English Paper Piecing and Applique.

I completed this mini quilt in 2013 and it measures 29" X 35".

Follow Your Heart

This pretty Heart Sampler was made using Paper Piecing.  Each block measures six inches.  I chose fabric from my stash to make each block.  It hangs in my family room during part of the year.

I made this small wall hanging in 2014 and it measures 34" X 42".

Stars and Stripes

Originally called "Long May She Wave" and intended as wall art, I have renamed this piece Stars and Stripes and use it as a table topper during the summer months.  It uses both traditional piecing and applique.

This sweet little table topper was one of the first quilted projects I've made.  It was constructed in 2008 and it measures 17" X 26".

  1. Three lovely finishes! Lots of variety there. Stars and Stripes looks like it would make the perfect table topper for summer. Nice that it's your first quilted piece.
