The Week of March 17, 2014

(in review)

1.  Continue to work on Ryder's Big Boy Bed quilt. 

I am making progress on Ryder's quilt but I have not had a lot of time to work on it.  All 25 blocks have been sewn together.  The next step will be to add the borders and prepare the backing.

I am a little unsure about the backing.  I am considering two different fabrics.  I will make the final decision this week.   

2.  Work on my teal batik Kwik Krazy Quilt.

Here are two more finished blocks.  I now have 36 of the 84 blocks completed.

3.  Work on the seventh lesson for

 "Delightful Stars Quilt-Along" sponsored by 
The Quilting Gallery. 

This is block #4.  

4.  Work on some of the McCall's 
Make It Your Way quilt along blocks.

No progress.

5.  Work on a few blocks for the 
Layer Cake Sampler quilt along sponsored by Material Girls Quilts.

Each block is made of 16 HST.

6.  Work on the March Globetrotting block sponsored by Pat Sloan.

No progress.

7.  Work on the March Aurifil quilt along block.

No progress.

8.  Work on the March Tell It to the Stars quilt along block sponsored by Judy Laquidara.  

No progress.

9.  Work on the March block for Wishes Quilt Along sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop.

No progress.

10.  Work on the March block for the PQW Saturday Sampler.

No progress.

11.  Continue to work on my New York Beauty quilt.

No progress.

12.  Work on some Just Takes 2 quilt blocks.

No progress.

13.  Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Civil War Tribute
Teal & White Delight

Majestic Mountains

Seashore Memories

I was able to finish one of my 
Four-Patch Stacked Posies tops.

14.  Work on the quilt currently loaded on Annie:

  "2013 NJ Shop Hop Quilt."

No progress.

15.  Attend Strip Club at The Village Quilter.

Strip club was cancelled so I did not attend.

16.  Spend a few days with my grandson, Ryder.

It was wonderful to spend St Patrick's Day with Ryder.

We went to Gymboree.

We ate green Jello Jigglers.

We made a wonderful green collage.

We had a great sleepover as well.  The weather was beautiful on Saturday so we were able to go to the playground.

Hopefully this video will work.  I haven't had much luck with uploading videos.

We went to dinner at Friendly's and Ryder loved the "CREAM!"

He also had a lot of fun playing with the Friendly's balloon.

9.  Work on the March Tell It to the Stars quilt along block sponsored by Judy Laquidara.  

10.  Work on the March block for Wishes Quilt Along sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop.

15.  Start working on an Advent calendar for Ryder and his soon to be born baby brother.
