Show & Tell Tuesday
I have two quilts to share today; both were made in 2008.
On March 6, 2012 I shared a quilt called Twist & Shout.
This quilt is small, just 21" x 24". When I was done I had A LOT of small triangles left over. I didn't want to waste them so I decided to put them together. I designed another small quilt called Pinwheel Play.
Pinwheel Play
I am very proud of this quilt because it is one of the first I have ever designed. It measures 28" x 32".
It was rewarding to be able to use some things that most people would have thrown away and turn them into something so pretty.
The next quilt was made in a class at Stony Brook Sew and Vac. It is called Trip Around the World.
Trip Around the World
This is a pattern that has been around for a very long time but it was a new pattern to me.
This quilt is a little bigger than the last; 42" x 42".
Next week I plan on sharing a quilt that is very special to me. It involved a tremendous amount of work and will be highlighted on June 12, 2012. I am proud of it and so excited to be able to feature it on my blog. I hope I have whetted your curiosity and you will stop back next week to see it.
Until Next Time.....Happy Stitching!!!
Sehr schöne Quilts.
