I am the wife of a wonderful husband and the mom of three super adult kids and their spouses. I also proudly have five adorable grandsons. I happily taught preschool for 25 years. When I'm not with my grandsons I spend much of my time indulging in my "Quilty Pleasures."

Make-A-List Monday September/October

1.  Spend quality time with my special grandsons

Ryder is ready to get the critter in the attic!


2.  Piece, quilt, bind and label at least one "Quilts for Kids" quilt.  Attend the Quilts for Kids workshop at Pennington Quilt Works

*Annie is still not working.  In fact, she may have died an early death. 
 I hope to know soon if she will be fixed or if I will have to replace her.
Replacement is not exactly in the budget but she is seven years old and longarm technology has changed so much in those seven years.  I may have to break down and do some quilting with my DSM.  


3.  Attend September Strip Club at 
The Village Quilter




4.  Attend Septemberfest in Veterans Park.






5.  Attend the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza XXII in Oaks, PA.

6.  Make a Trick-or-Treat bag for little Logan.




Now the boys have matching bags.

7.  Start planning a Card Table Playhouse for Ryder and Logan.

I have my plans for the playhouse.  I hope to get the fabric I will need for this project in October.

8.  Make quilts for two of my friend's new baby girls

I was able to complete one quilt before Annie stopped working.

Still working on this project.  The blocks are sewn into rows.  Now I have to sew the rows together.

I was able to put together two baby quilt tops and two full sized quilt tops from the blocks I made.
