Make-A-List Monday July/August

Poor ANNIE is sick. =(

My beloved long arm quilting machine stopped working about 3 weeks ago.  I took her to the repair shop and they worked on her while we were in Hershey.  I received notice while on vacation that she was ready for pick-up.  I brought her home and set her up but unfortunately she was still not working properly.

I called the shop (which happens to be over an hour each way from where I live) and they said that their repairman lives in the town next to mine and that he would stop by to see what he could do.

When the repairman came he played with her a little bit and got her running.

Hallelujah she was fixed!
or so I thought...

The next day she started doing exactly the same thing.  I called my repairman, Stephon (We are on a first name basis now.  It turns out I went to school with his sister and my husband was his physical education teacher and football coach) and he is coming on Friday to pick her up and take her back to Doylestown.  He suspects it is her C-Pod which will not be good news.

I'm not sure how much actual quilting I will get done this month while I wait for Annie to be repaired.  There is a rumor that a new C-Pod might be back-ordered for 6 MONTHS!

UGH!

Hopefully Annie will be repaired in the near future  and I can get back to quilting all the tops I am creating.

Now for some good news:

Our pumpkins are growing so well this year.  In a few short weeks one of them went from this:
to this:
I'm so happy we will have pumpkins this year for Ryder and Logan to carve and decorate!
