I am the wife of a wonderful husband and the mom of three super adult kids and their spouses. I also proudly have five adorable grandsons. I happily taught preschool for 25 years. When I'm not with my grandsons I spend much of my time indulging in my "Quilty Pleasures."

Make-A-List Monday JUNE/JULY

Happy 239th Birthday, AMERICA!

2.  Attend the Quilts for Kids workshop at Pennington Quilt Works.

Lots of quilts completed this month.  This is just one of them.


3.  Attend Saturday Sampler workshop at Pennington Quilt Works.



4.  Attend The Village Quilter June Strip Club.

5.  Celebrate Ryder's third birthday and my future DIL, Kaela's birthday.

9.  Finish my "Let it Go" quilt for Ryder's birthday.





10.  Finish Katie and Brian's Memory quilt.

This quilt is done but Brian and Katie are in Disney World with little Kara so I cannot post pictures until they get back and receive the quilt.

11.  Make a quilt for my friend's new baby boy.

This quilt is done but I am still working on the binding.  Hopefully pictures next month.

12.  Aiming for Accuracy II by Mishka's Playground.







13.  Heather Spence Designs mystery quilt to benefit cancer patients.

Making progress but not finished yet.  I decided to add a pieced border so this will take a little longer to complete.

14.  Complete piecing, quilting , binding and labeling a Quilts for Kids quilt.

I finished four quilts this month.


15.  January, February, March, April, May and June blocks for Pat Sloan's 2015 Mystery Quilt:  Vacation Time.




16. January, February, March, April, May and June blocks for Calypso Kaleidoscope by Quilt Addicts Anonymous.







17.   March, April, May and June blocks for the Arcadia Avenue Quilt Along sponsored by Sassafras Lane Designs.

I was only able to finish the March and April blocks...



18.  May & June blocks for the Friendship Star Sisters 2015 Block of the Month.

I went to the "Friendship Star Sisters" blog to get my May and June blocks only to find that the blog had been removed.  While investigating this oddity I discovered that the "Friendship Star Sisters" had stolen another blog's 2013 Block of the Month and were claiming it as their own. Luckily I was able to find Quilt Doodle Designs, the original designers of the BOM that I had started. 




 I was able to get the rest of the block patterns.  Here are the May and June blocks:





19.  Complete the last five steps for Quiltmaker Magazine 2015 New Year's Mystery: Auld Lang Stitches.

Making progress on this quilt but not complete yet.

20.  Complete quilting the top currently loaded on Annie:  2013 Heather Spence Fall Mystery Quilt and any other quilts currently on my 
Git-R-Done List.

I finished quilting a lot of tops this month.


No progress on any of the following green highlighted projects.

21.  Bind/label 5 table runners, Mexican Cross, Watermelon Mania, Aiming 4 Accuracy/Surf & Sun, Garden Patch, Heather Spence Fall Mystery Quilt/Mum's the Word, Slice Twice Isn't It Nice, Jungle Fever, An Oldie But Goodie, Celtic Solstice, and other quilts I complete this month.

23.  Crazy Quilt using Shar Jorgenson templates by Omnigrid.

24.  Fit for a Hero, a quilt by Judy Laquidara.
