Make-A-List Monday

What a BUSY, BUSY time of year.  I am having a

hard time finishing much on my list lately.  I

will continue to plug along hoping that I can get

a few things done each week.

The Week of December 2, 2013
(In review)

1.  Finish the first clue for Bonnie Hunter's new online mystery

and start working on the second clue to be released on Friday.

I have finished sewing the first clue and I have made a few units for the second clue.

I love these green, yellow and neutral chevrons.

2.  Finish the Make It Snappy scarves started last week.

Not finished yet

3.  Finish the Christmas tree skirt recently quilted on my long arm quilting machine, Annie.

I've waited 32 years for a real tree skirt.  I'm so glad that I finished this one just in time for Christmas.

4.  Bind the Christmas Tree Log Cabin wall hanging recently quilted on Annie.

Not finished yet.

5.  Work on the center block for Wildflower Rhapsody.

No progress.

6.  Continue to work through my Flylady inspired Christmas Control Journal.

Everything is on track for a peaceful and joyous Christmas in our home.

7.  Complete the next two blocks for the Byrne $5 quilt.

No progress.

8.  Work on some hemming and mending of garments.

No progress.

9.  Cut up a bag of scraps I've accumulated over the last few weeks.

No progress

10.  Prepare month 3 for the Civil War Tribute quilt.

No progress.

11.  Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Small Print

Jungle Fever
Civil War Tribute
Two Flag of Valor Quilts

I did a little work on the Large Print Four-Patch Stacked Posies and I finished piecing Jungle Fever.

Jungle Fever has been added to my Git-R-Done quilting List.

I was able to piece a backing from my stash of batik fabrics.

12.  Work on the quilt currently loaded on Annie -
All Hand Dyes Go Together.

I've made a little progress on All Hand Dyes Go Together but it is not done yet.

13.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
 Christmas Hexie Quilt.

No Progress.

14.  Work on the shawl I am crocheting for
the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. David the King Church.

No Progress.

15.  Spend three days with my main guy, Ryder...including a sleepover!

Yay Me!!!

Ry Bear and I had oodles and oodles of fun together this past week.

16.  Attend the Quilts for Kids workshop held at Pennington Quilt Works.

I attended the workshop and turned in my quilt.  We will donate approximately 20 quilts this month.

17.  Attend the annual Holiday Craft Show at
West Windsor-Plainsboro High School.

Every year I volunteer 4 hours at the annual Holiday Craft Show.  I work at the table that gives out coffee, doughnuts and bagels to all of the crafters.  When I am done with my volunteer shift I always take a loop or two around the school to see if there are any new ideas.  I rarely purchase anything because I always think I could make the craft myself.  I still enjoy looking and catching up with neighborhood friends that I only seem to see once a year, at the show.
