The Week of July 1, 2013

1. Prepare backing Fabric for Building Blocks BOM.
I pieced the backing and added this quilt to my Git-R-Done list.

2. Attend Quilts for Kids at Pennington Quilt Works.
I attended the Quilts for Kids workshop at Pennington Quilt Works. Although I did not finish a quilt this month I plan on finishing two for the next workshop.

3. Bind the 2012 NJ Shop Hop Quilt that I just finished quilting on Annie.
My NJ Shop Hop quilt has been bound and added to my ever growing pile of quilts that need bindings hand tacked.
4. Quilt the Bonnie Hunter Mystery called Easy Street on Annie.

5. Purchase and prepare backing fabric for "Square Dance."
I found a very pretty blue fabric to put on the back of this quilt. It has now been added to the Git-R-Done list.

6. Work on the following BRODY Projects:

Keep It Simple
Lazy Sunday
Blue Dresden Plate Quilt
Log Cabin Christmas Tree Quilt
I did a little work on each project but I did not finish any of them.
7. Work on some blocks for the Skill Builder Block of the Month sponsored by Alyssa Lichner of Pile O' Fabric.
I finished six blocks. I love the way they are turning out. I still have two more blocks to finish to be all caught up with this Quilt-Along. They are both hand pieced so it might take me awhile.
8. Work on Lesson #1 for Aiming for Accuracy Quilt Along.
I've printed out the first two clues for this Quilt Along. I've cut out all the background fabric but I think I am going to wait to start this project. I am having a hard time deciding on the colors I want to use.
9. Have a sleep-over or two with sweet little Ryder.
My super sweet grandson is sleeping soundly upstairs in his crib as I write this post. We spent the day going to Gymboree, swimming and playing outside. .
10. Take our puppy, Brody, for his neutering surgery.

Brody did so well with his surgery. He had a little bleeding scare but everything seems to be healing well now.

1. Complete the second block for the PQW Saturday Sampler. Attend class this weekend.
2. Quilt, bind and launder two Quilts for Kids quilts.
3. Attach a binding to the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt Easy Street.
4. Prepare a quilt called Syncopated Rhythm as a BRODY Project.
