I worked on only two Brody Projects this week.  I did not complete either of them.

9.  Work on a Flag of Valor quilt top.

I have decided to make two Flag of Valor quilts.

My quilts will look similar to this quilt only I plan to use a different fabric for the red floral.

So far I have made 144 flying geese units.  I am planning on moving this project to my Brody Project list.

10.  Work on eight blocks for the Sugar Block Club sponsored by Amy Gibson of Stitchery Dickory Dock.

I did not get time to work on these blocks.

This quilt has been bound and it is now added to my pile of quilts to be hand tacked.

Make-A-List Monday

The Week of September 23, 2013
(in Review)

1.  Work on Lesson 14 for the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along
 sponsored by The Quilting Gallery.

There are only a few more lessons to go for this quilt.

Most of the blocks are complete.

2. Work on the following BRODY Projects:

*Blue Dresden Plate Quilt
*Four Across Hearts Table Runner
Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Small Print
Four-Patch Stacked Posies...Large Print
Slice Twice - Isn't That Nice

I was able to work on two
BRODY Projects this week.

I finished piecing the Four Across Hearts Table Runner.

It has been added to my Git-R-Done list.

3.  Cut up the bag of scraps I've accumulated over the past few weeks.

All my scraps have been cut up and added to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
Scrap User's System.

4.  Go through two buckets of miscellaneous quilt related items and find a home for them all.

All the items have found a new home.

5.  Spend a day with my cuddle bug, Ryder.

Little Ryder, all of 15 months old, has learned a new trick.  He has learned to climb out of his crib.  He did it on a day he was with his mommy and daddy, thank goodness, and not me.  The poor little guy got a bump on his head but was okay, otherwise.  All miscellaneous toys have been removed from his crib so that there is nothing to climb on.  Hopefully this will solve the problem.

Such a little monkey!!!

6.  Work on the quilt currently loaded on Annie - the Byrne 2011 $5 quilt, repro colorway.

I finally finished this rather large (95" x 95") quilt.

7.  Finish the watermelon quilt top I am working on made from fabric I gathered on a trip to Phoenix and San Diego two summers ago.  Prepare a backing and binding for this quilt.

I'm so happy with this quilt.  It is soooo cute.  I prepared a backing of red with white dots and a black binding.  It has been added to my Git-R-Done list.

8.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
 Christmas Hexie Quilt.

No progress this week.

9.  Organize all the pictures from my lost blog page -
 My Christmas Hexie Journey
and start to reproduce the page.

FINALLY this has been completed!  You can view the restored page HERE.

10.  Work on the next block for the PQW Saturday Sampler Quilt.

This block, like all the others in this quilt, measures 12 1/2".

11.  Work on the next block for the 2013 Byrne $5 quilt.

This picture is not great but the actual block is quite nice.

12.  Work on the three Quilts for Kids quilts that I started in the last workshop.

I did not get to these quilts last week.  The October workshop is this week so I will work on them then.

13.  Bind the June 2011 Stash Club 1930's Braid quilt.

My braid quilt is bound.  Now I will have to hand tack the binding.

14.  Prepare a backing and binding for Lazy Sunday.

I found a pretty purple backing for my Lazy Sunday quilt.  I'm going to add a teal binding after it has been quilted.  It has been added to the Git-R-Done list.

(in review)

Lazy Sunday

Lazy Sunday is a Bonnie Hunter mystery offered by Quiltmaker Magazine.

It is very colorful and very scrappy...much like many of Bonnie's patterns.

Christmas Charm Tree Skirt

This tree skirt is ready to be quilted.  After it is quilted I will cut a circle from the center and a slit from the edge to the circle.  Then it will be bound with a bias binding.

3.  Spend a day with my main guy...Ryder.

Just a few pictures of our day together:

Going for a walk

On my new swing.

I was able to complete this step.
The center medallion of this quilt measures 24 1/2" X 24 1/2" unfinished.

6.  Continue to work on two watermelon quilts made from fabric I gathered on a trip to Phoenix and San Diego two summers ago.

Here are two of the eight rows I've completed for this quilt top.  I have decided to just work on this watermelon quilt for now.  I will but the other pattern on hold for a while and work on it another time.

7.  Add some more hexies to my Bonnie Hunter inspired
 Christmas Hexie Quilt.

Only a few hexies added this week.

8.  Organize all the pictures from my lost blog page -
