My days have been starting earlier and earlier lately. One benefit of this early start is being able to witness beautiful sunrises like the one pictured above.
Thanks to our amazing DIL Heather and our equally amazing friend, Katie, my husband and I were able to receive our Covid 19 vaccines this month.
This is us after the first shot. Our next shot is scheduled for tomorrow...
On a whim, we visited a local farm to observe their newly hatched chicks.
I've always wanted chickens. I thought it would be fun to have five chickens - one for each grandson.
Although we have not ruled it out, we have decided to put that decision on the back burner for now.
Instead, Don has immersed himself in some more home projects. He tackled painting the upstairs hallway, downstairs hallway and the family room.
I must admit, he is quite ambitious!
And now for the after photos...
Job well done!
His next project is to incorporate a small turtle/fish/frog pond into our front landscaping.
He has a long way to go...
We celebrated the first full weekend of spring by heading over to our local Rita's for an after dinner treat.
Apparently, we were not the only people with this same idea!
My two oldest grandsons have been busy with both in person and virtual school this month.
Logan was very busy working on a first grade art project.
The weather this month has been changeable as expected. In order to get my daily walk and my 10,000 steps in, I have ventured out to local businesses during off-peak hours to stroll the aisles.
Costco
And finally I was able to order new furniture for my studio.
It won't arrive for another week, or so, but I am super excited to replace the old rickety tables I've been using up to this point.
And now on to my list...
