Happy Anniversary to my Dear In-Laws
Betty and Elijah.
We celebrated with a family BBQ at my DBIL's house. The weather was beautiful...maybe a little hot, but that is OK with me.
Here is the happy couple.
We had lots of picnic food and yummy strawberry shortcake for dessert. Yum!
Ryder and little Logan went on a vacation to the beach in VA this month with their mom, Heather.
They look like they are having a great time.
I want to share a picture of my friend's triplets. I made quilts for all three and here they are enjoying them.
I get a wonderful feeling when I see people using the quilts that I make for them instead of just folding them up and putting them away so they "stay nice and don't get ruined." Quilts, especially quilts for children, are meant to be used, loved, cuddled under and enjoyed.

1. Spend quality time with my special grandsons.
I've been so fortunate to be able to spend lots and lots of time with my two favorite little guys this month.
We spent a day at Sesame Place in PA.
We hope to do this a lot this summer and fall as we all have season passes.
We spent Memorial Day at Yankee Stadium. My son, Kyle, was running a special event for children so we all went.
Ryder especially enjoyed having his face painted like a tiger. We went on countless picnics both inside and outside:
We went on lots of walks:
and saw beautiful signs of spring...
On one of our adventures we explored a nearby spray park...
Ryder said the walkway at one local playground reminded him of a strawberry...
VERY observant!
We planted pumpkin seeds...
Logan loves to spend time outside, especially in the sandbox...
Music class is a fun activity for both boys...
And sometimes it is fun being all by yourself...
2. Attend the Quilts for Kids workshop at Pennington Quilt Works.
4. Celebrate my DGS's first birthday.
5. Celebrate Mother's Day.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day BBQ prepared completely by my children. I'm not sure how I managed to not take one picture. Oh well, the day will have to be remembered only in my mind.

At first I thought this quilt top was too busy, but I am starting to like it more and more.
