Make-A-List Monday

Finally a few minutes to write a blog post.  I'm not complaining because I like to be busy.  But a little "down-time" would be nice once in a while.

We just returned home from a quick long-weekend trip to Chicago and Indianapolis.  My best friend's son was married this past Saturday and we were privileged to be able to attend the celebration.

We started our adventure in Chicago by visiting Millennium Park and snapping a selfie in front of the Cloud Gate Sculpture.  We enjoyed a wonderful art museum and a classical music concert by a string orchestra.

Our next stop in Chicago was
Wrigley Field where the
 Chicago Cubs play.

I know...another annoying selfie.

We watched the Cubbies defeat the Washington Nationals.

On Saturday morning we traveled to Indianapolis for the wedding.  The ceremony and reception were all held in the beautiful
Scottish Rite Cathedral.

Okay,  this is the last selfie...I promise.

On Sunday we attended a lovely luncheon at my friend's home just outside of Indianapolis.  We had a wonderful time but it is always so nice to get back home.

June was definitely a busy month but I was able to make a bit of progress on my LIST.

Attend Ryder's second birthday party.

I've had so much wonderful time with my two special grandsons over the past few weeks.

Little Logan is growing sooooo fast.

Ryder's second birthday was a very low key affair, unlike his first birthday party.  It was just his mom and dad, brother and grandparents.

He loved his Mickey Mouse birthday cake that his mom. Heather made for him.

He loved his presents, especially the Roller Coaster we gave to him.

We also had a great library visit.
