Make-A-List Monday September 2017

Image result for where have i been

OK...I know I have been missing for quite a few months.  There is really no excuse.  Life gets busy and quilting has to be put on the back burner for a while.

I think the best way to start back with
Quilty Pleasures
is to do a Make-A-List Monday.  I really haven't done a whole lot of "Quilty" things in the past four months but I will try to remember the few things that I have completed.

May/August
(in review)

1.  Piece, quilt, bind and label at least one "Quilts for Kids" quilt.  Attend the QFK workshop at Pennington Quilt Works.

These are the quilts our QFK group donated in May, June & July.  I did not attend the August workshop as I had to go on some emergency wedding venue visits
      (A very long story...)

2.  Make a quilt for Logan's Big Boy Bed.

Logan's Big Boy Quilt is almost complete.  The first picture is of a Pottery Barn Kids quilt that I was asked to use as a starting point for his quilt.

Then I began designing, purchasing fabric and creating...

This is what the quilt top looked like before it was quilted:

The quilting is now complete and I am currently working on the binding.  I will post a picture of the completed quilt when the binding is done and it is on his bed.  Stay tuned for my next Make-A-List-Monday post for that picture.
