Today I have a few practical money saving ideas.  These tips will certainly help you save a little money.

1.  We all know that insurance is important.  Everyone should have health insurance and I don't think it is an area where we should scrimp to save.  But when it comes to car insurance, I feel it is important to shop around.  You can save a lot of money by simply raising your deductible a little.

2.  Clip coupons and use them wisely.  Combine coupons when possible on items that are already on sale and on items that you would purchase anyway.  Also, use coupons on smaller sized items.  Usually when you figure out the price per unit on an item when using a coupon, it is a better deal to buy the smaller item.

3.  Buy generic everything.  Many generics are exactly the same as brand names.

4.  Buy in bulk and use reward cards at the grocery store.  Often there are discounts on items that only apply if you use a store's reward card. 

These are just a few practical ideas to use in your attempt to save money.
